I believe in making practical decisions and informed judgments based on the facts presented. Analyzing local issues, making logical and clear decisions based on experience leads to optimal outcomes for constituents.
RESPONSIBLE SPENDING
It is a city's responsibility to provide the best basic services possible (police, fire, water, sewer, streets, and parks, etc.) within the confines of its tax authority. We need to spend those tax dollars as intended.
SMART GROWTH
I believe that identification, development and implementation of strategies in which help protect our communities health and natural environment will make Cambridge more attractive, economically stronger, and more socially diverse.
GROWING BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY
I strongly believe that active recruitment of business and industry partners to fill our cities two industrial park sites will strengthen our local economy and increase the overall welfare of our region. Strong businesses help pay taxes that go for essential services. Businesses also provide good jobs that put money in people’s pockets and allow for a higher quality of life.
COLLABORATIVE GOVERNMENT RELATIONSHIPS
Collaborative governance is an effective approach and requires government units, community members and private sectors partners to communicate with each other and working together to achieve more effective and better services than any one sector could provide on its own.
